El día 28 de julio, el Cónsul General, Katsumi ITAGAKI participó en un evento deportivo celebrado en el municipio de León, en compañía de la Presidenta municipal de León, la Lic. Alejandra Gutiérrez y el Director General de la COMUDE León, Mtro. Isaac Noe Piña Valdivia. Durante el evento, se realizó la entrega de un reconocimiento a la delegación LEONESA que había participado en los juegos nacionales CONADE 2022 y la entrega de un distintivo a la Delegación de Fútbol Sub18 que participará en el Torneo Internacional de Fútbol Juvenil HiFA Peace Memorial 2022 Balcom BMW CUP.
